Climb to the very roof of the Magaliesberg and step back 125 years to the largest engagement of the guerrilla phase of the Anglo-Boer War. Your guide, historian and storyteller Rob Milne, leads a 4-hour adventure that begins with a game-drive through the Plumari Private Reserve and ends among stone forts, heliograph stations and the spot where Sgt Donald Farmer won the Victoria Cross. 🏞️
Expect breathtaking panoramas, gripping tales of courage and strategy, and short interpretive walks to key sites—perfect for history lovers, families and curious explorers. After the tour, return to the lodge for an optional lunch (own account) and share your discoveries over cold refreshments. Places are limited; reserve now to secure your seat on the truck!
